Patrick & Kristi Bentley

Patrick and Kristi Bentley are parishioners of St. Philip Catholic Church, and they live in Franklin with their six children. Patrick has a doctoral degree in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, and works as a marketing director for a technology manufacturer. Kristi taught in Catholic schools until they started having children and continues to teach their kids at home, and she and Patrick serve on the board of St. Thomas More Schola homeschool cooperative. At St. Philip, Patrick serves on the Parish Pastoral Council, and Kristi is trained in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and helps teach Confirmation and RCIA. In 2009, while Kristi was working for Father John Sims Baker at Vanderbilt Catholic, she and Patrick started the Three to Get Married engaged couples retreat to support him in preparing couples for marriage, and they continue to coordinate this ministry that now finds its home at St. Mary of the Seven Sorrows, hosting two weekend long retreats each year at Camp Marymount. Patrick is a Captain and Finance Officer in the Fraternus chapter at Nativity, where he participates in this ministry with his sons.​

Mike and Teresa Ferri have been married for more than 20 years. Mike is a Vanderbilt-trained psychiatrist in private practice and Medical Director at The Next Door in Nashville. Teresa is a home educator and has been a curriculum advisor for many years. They are founding board members of the St. Thomas More Schola homeschool cooperative in Franklin. They are parishioners of St. Mary of the Seven Sorrows. They have nine children, the oldest of whom is studying at Thomas Aquinas College in California, and the youngest is still in diapers. Mike is a captain at the Fraternus chapter at Nativity, where he participates with his sons. They run beef cattle on a farm in southern Williamson County.

John & Greta Carswell

John and Greta Carswell have been married for 19 years and have 3 children. John is a digital marketing consultant and former submarine officer of the US Navy, he grew up in Louisville, KY. Greta is a registered nurse and youth educator, and she grew up in Annapolis, MD. They have lived in the Nashville area since 2008, and, in 2010, both John and Greta entered the Catholic Church after a long spiritual journey. They are parishioners at St. Mary of the Seven Sorrows where John serves as a catechist for 7th through 9th grades, and he has served as a board member and instructor for St. Thomas More Schola for the last 5 years. He also taught 8th Grade Confirmation and was a Parish Pastoral Council member at a different parish. For the last several years, Greta served as the Upper School coordinator and as a board member for St. Thomas More Schola. They are thrilled to be serving on the board of Chesterton Academy of the Incarnation.
